Changes!....

Mr. Zeke Letting his Aroma Waft through the living room window..

Pablo.. He is such a sweetie....

So these are the 2 intact boys currently calling this rocky hill side home..  they are father and son..  So our breeding season is winding down. I have decided to wait on breeding my younger girls. I like them to be a little bigger and more mature before breeding.. So I posted these 2 guys for sale. Zeke will be leaving for his new home October 1st to be the Main Man for a herd of 60 does. He will be in Buck heaven.. He needs a large herd he has way more love to spread around then the 6 does he has bred here..
Pablo is also leaving but it will be this weekend. He is going to some place close. I will most likely get to see pics of his babies. He is only 4 months old but is already acting bucky and trying to do "the job". Lol  We knew Pablo would be leaving soon because he is related to half the herd on his momma's side and we plan on keeping Zeke's girls next year.. So We knew both of them were here for a limited time..
We also have 19 wethers that will be going to the Sale at the end of the month. This will bring us down to 22 goats total.. It will be such a relief when they are gone. It was major flop on what we tried to do with them. We learned that we do not want 30 plus bottle babies again.. We will have 16 does and 6 wethers left. The wethers will be finished out for meat. And hopefully we will have lots of little Zeke babies running around next Jan-Feb....
Plans change and things get rearrange... And we go on...

I see your family is much like ours. We name our animals, and if you haven't followed for awhile, one might think you are speaking of family members. We have mostly chickens nowadays, and we don't name them individually, but by flock. We have the Preschoolers, the Kindergarten, the teen agers, and the old folks. We have had goats in the past, but have gotten out of them for now.
