Faith, Family and Small Farm Life
I'm so glad Hope gave you girls this year. Waiting for them so long makes them even more precious.
we have a little doe we got from a "bad" place - I can't seem to get weight on her - she had a big belly and I wormed her and the big belly is gone but I can't seem to get any meat on her bones - her back and hips are so bony - I think she is part Alpine but she is little - her past home looked like a puppy mill but goats - if I took my trailer I probably would have loaded it up - they were all dry docked even though he had pasture - it was very nasty - he had a lot of different breeds so no clue who the father was - she is probably 3 - never bred - he said he "showed" them and she has double teets - there is no way he shows those goats - they all were skinny like this - any ideas to fatten her up any - she also has frail horns
