Milking War Just About Over...

It's alive!!!
One of my Comfrey plants I thought was smothered..
Kyle tilled in that area a week ago and these guys popped up!Yeah!

Mixing up herbal wormer..
Thought it was pretty layered like that...

This is what happens after 3 years of dumping goat berries and bedding on a rocky area...
Nice soft Dirt!
Its beautiful stuff that now has tomatoes and marigolds in it..

Its just absolutely wonderful!....... ;)

My NEW book!!!
I cant wait to really read it..
Well its new to me..
Bought it off of Abebooks.com used for a fraction of the cost!!
It has some wear and is older..
But it was $11 with shipping..

We have been planting.. and planting and still have more to plant! I LOVE Spring!!.. We have another garden to plant soon.. Hoping to go get it tilled this weekend and start planting next week..
Today I transferred or planted celery, tomatoes, purslane, thyme, basil, oregano, more lettuce, onions, parsnips, ground cherries, peppers, calendula, marigolds, zucchini, squash and a new summer squash called Squash Lemon. It looks like a lemon and is the size and shape but its a summer squash.. Soooo we will see..
The milk war continue but they are losing their will power to fight us so much.. A1 doesnt get hobbled much at all now and A2 still fights it when she runs out of her favorite part of the grain. She gets one leg hobbled in the morning when milking takes the longest.. Kara has pretty much taken over milking them and does so well.. Did I mention she has the patience of Job? She impresses me..
We have another full week ahead of us! I get to meet up with some goatie friends, 4H meeting and the usual stuff going on! Have a great week  everyone!

Love that "new" tiller! Your dirt looks amazing. Your veggies should be very happy growing in it.

Beautiful dirt! it took 12 years of nanny berries and horse biscuits to get ours looking like that :) I wasn't sure our Comfrey survived, either. But it is up and doing well!
