New Wonder Drug??!!!!

Okay so its no wonder drug but I am convinced that Cinnamon is a Great Natural Alternative.. I posted last spring about the 2 little bucks that got Cocci... How I used Cinnamon to treat it..
Ethel's boy, Ben came down with Severe diarrhea the first of this week.. He was dam raised so no bottle to get it down him... NOT fun.. But I told Candice to mix 1-2 teaspoons with enough water to drench him with it.. Candice is one of those people that if a little is good a bunch is better right???... So she gave him more like a heaping tablespoon. We drenched him with it morning and night.. I noticed on the last day that he had berries.. Not soft poo but Berries!! woohoo... Now I didn't check him to see if it was Cocci for sure. But it was very runny poo (like water) and extremely smelly.. He was standing all hunched up and not eating on the first day.. By the second day he was eating again. 3rd day back to normal!
My little babies started getting soft poos at 3 days old I started adding 1/4 tsp of Cinnamon per bottle. They have had berries ever since. I am going to keep giving it to them as a preventative.
My oldest daughter also started breaking out this summer with what looked like poison ivy.. But it responded to nothing I put on it.. I started giving her Cinnamon in pill form a couple of times a day and with in a week it was reduced to not much and eventually went away...
Here are some links about Cinnamon that I thought Were interesting...

Home Remedies/Benefits of cinnamon

I buy it in Bulk from www.herbalcom.com  they have really good prices and decent shipping..

The reason Cinnamon works for Diarrhea so well... Is because it does this......
This was a heaping teaspoon of Cinnamon in enough water to be able to suck it up in a syringe..
This got left in the little bowl and after about 20 minutes looked like this..

Okay so this is nothing to do with Cinnamon...
But Kyla's little button quail... They are feathering out and look so funny.
They are Maybe double in size.
We just cleaned their cage... They need a bigger cage.....

The goat babies being silly! They are right at  3 weeks old(girls) and a month old(boys)..
Eating hay pretty well......

Tennessee the little Ham!!

All squished in no one wanting to budge from their place..

The little spotted Boy sold.. He leaves with in the month...
he is cute and Knows it!haha
We have had good Christmas this year.. Despite Kyle being laid off and not having a regular job God has Supplied all our needs according to his riches in Glory.  I am so thankful for all of God's Promises. I did go with out a PC for about 3 days.. Horrible!lol.. But I got a virus on my main PC and had to go pick up the one that got struck by lightning in July!lol.. It hadn't been in the shop that long.. Apparently when my husband was searching for gun parts he picked up a virus. I am sure my PC guy can fix it, he is pretty good and wont break the bank.  I also downloaded a new web browser.. I wish I would have done this sooner I love Google Chrome!!! He said its safer than IE and has less holes to get through. We shall see. I do have a  good virus protection but it got past that. It caught it but couldn't get rid of it. One day I will have both PC"s up and running at the same time!lol ....Maybe...

For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:
But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:
As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack. 2 Corinthians 8:13-15

Wow...that's really interesting about the cinnamon..I'll go check out those links. I love finding home remedies to resolve ailments. I feel so clever LOL! But really, of course it's God provision that goes back to the beginning of creation.

I have a similiar work/finanicial situation here, but with my daughter. She has had her job terminated but will have towait until Feb before getting any financial support. I loose family assistance now that she's 18 so we are trusting the Lord to "bridge the gap" and provide for her.

Aren't viruses on your PC frustrating. I now use (pay an annual sub) for Nortons because the free downloadable antiviruses I had didn't work.

Love the new header picture Tonia! Your babies are so cute!

Very interesting about the cinnamon~ I'll have to remember that.

I always find it interesting how God provides when we finally let go of our ways and wait for His~ just this week His provision overflowed not once, but twice, in direct answer to prayers of financial needs. God is faithful to His children:))

Cinnamon? Seriously? That is too interesting! I have to file this idea as Clara ALWAYS gets Cocci in July. I think the heat stresses her. I don't like giving all the meds, but there seems to be no choice. I will try this on her if she gets them again.

Sounds like you had a wonderful holiday! Enjoy the next few days of this year!
