Summer Time!

1st double Yolker of the year..
It's a green egg flash made it look pale.

Early Summer morning..
As you can see Sissy is finally accepted..
Emma is doing good and has made herself at home in the herd.
She isn't in this pic though.. It was before she was out.

A friend's little girl.. I took this yesterday.
Just thought How CUTE and classic summer.

Kara caught a Bass yesterday..
It went back in the lake to grow some more.

As the sun was going down frogs started biting..
Fish hooks that is!lol
They thought it was great!!

Ahhh Yesss... That time of year..
Making Hay while the sun shines..
It smells so good to drive down country roads.

Our 2 new little Chicks from Brenda!
She has a hen setting and so far these are the 2 that have hatched.
They were playing tug of war over the crust..
Been another busy weekend.. Lots of sun, fun and time with friends and family. Its warm out and wonderful. All my tomato plants are staked up and growing well. Brenda also brought me some tomato and pepper plants yesterday in addition to the little chicks. Which was great because I was going to have to buy tomato plants to replace a few that died. Thank you again Brenda!

Tomatoes?! We've only just been able to put ours out! Cool and wet this year, ugh.

Looks like summer farming really ramps up from here.

Tonia - You're very welcome! I know the chicks will be safe and happy at your farm.

Your family sure knows how to have summer fun!
