Please Continue to Pray....

Joplin is still in very bad shape it rained and stormed all day yesterday. Hampering rescue efforts. They have found some people alive Thank You Jesus.. Hopefully they will find more today. The death toll is officially up to 118 making it the 8th deadliest Single tornado in history. There were also 3 other tornadoes in the area at the same time. I don't know if they did as much damage. They were EF-2 and the one in Joplin is officially an EF-4 with sustained winds 190-198mph winds.
Last night the storm that came through blew things around and was noisy but nothing damaged here. We have more severe storms with the threat of Tornadoes tonight. We are 130 miles from Joplin and on the very edge of the possible tornadoes. People are understandably a little bit paranoid.
Our fire department sent a crew down there today. Kyle wasn't able to go because he had already missed one day of work due to rain and may miss more if it rains tomorrow. Anyway here is a link if any one would like to help or if you need info. This page has all sorts of info to help. How to help or locate Joplin Mo Tornado Victims
Things have been going along like normal here. We have been busy and had a busy weekend. This week has just been our normal everyday stuff. So its been good besides the buckets of rain but I am not complaining because it could obviously be worse.
And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Praying for you and yours too, Tonia. I'm not sure where all the tornadic action begins and ends tonight. The risk seems to be almost everywhere. Scary stuff. All we can do is pray, and try to be prepared in case of the worst. We're sending items to Joplin tomorrow. I hope they are surrounded with everyone's love and care, but at the same time... I hope we don't overwhelm them with too much! It's hard to know what to do...
Hugs! -Tammy
