Purely Chatter...

My Baby Girls......

8 Maids A Milking......

Christmas Tree at Branson's Landing..

Another pic at Branson's Landing..
Blurry but I thought it was pretty....
We had a day out and more than 30 miles from home.. Kyla and Kara had Dr. appointments today. Kyla ended up being poked 3 times for blood and not a drop to be had and sent to another lab.. In the meantime Kara had an ultrasound on her Thyroid.. Doctor said he isn't worried about it but just wanted to check and make sure there is nothing to be worried about as it felt bigger than last time. It was about 4 hours total by the time we were done... So we all felt we deserved some good Chinese food! lol
Then we headed to Branson.. Now We Rarely go farther than 30 miles from home... We spent time in 2 cities today!! That was enough for us! haha.. I am going to have to go hug a goat or 2 here in a minute!
Ever so grateful for the Life God has blessed us with..
We went to the Festival of Lights and drove through it was neat! That is where the 8 maids a milking came from. They had the 12 days of Christmas, Nativity scene and all sorts of other things. Including a snowman scene set to Music!
Then we went to Branson's Landing just to have a good look around.. It was neat. I got a new wedding ring too. Its stainless steel. My original well doesn't fit right now.. Its sterling silver and my new one looks just like it!Lol... We wondered back and forth it wasn't horribly cold out. It was pretty and alot of fun just being out and about.. We stopped for Hot chocolate on the way home..
As we headed home we were never so glad to see less and less traffic till about 10 miles from home there was NOO traffic.. Ahhh I love home! All 5 of these Country Bumpkins were glad to be home!
Tomorrow I will be fixing lights and Decoration on the front of the house due to the crazy wind we had last week... Then I will try to get a decent picture! Temps are climbing back into the 40's and that means Kyle will get to go to work again. He was off this last week because of the extreme cold. But at least its not 3 months like last year. Thank you Jesus!!
OOOOhhh And our local Grocery store opens back up tomorrow!! YEAH!! It burned back in the spring and they got it rebuilt. Everyone will be so happy.. We have been driving by and getting sneak peeks..
It looks so bright and shiny inside... I will have to go tomorrow you know everyone in town will be there at some time or another....
 Have a Good Weekend everyone!

Very pretty light displays. I would have to travel a few miles to see something like that.

Glad your hubby will be getting back to work.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Tonia cool header and cool shots! Congrats on your new wedding band, that's a reson to smile! What a fun thing, to head to Branson. You are lots closer than us. And you hit it, you are so right about coming back to no traffic in our little towns. Heck we don't even have a traffic light! Glad you all had fun!

Sounds like you had a fun time in the city. I bet those lights were really pretty. Glad, you're getting your grocery store back!

A day in the city sure makes you appreciate the farm out in the country! Now you see why I moved from my farm in Branson and the office in Springfield to my quiet farm and home office out here in the quiet country! :D

Looks like you had a great time in town even if you had to fight all that traffic.

Ah, nothing like a trip to the city to make you appreciate home. :)

I like the blurry shot! oh my sympathy for the ultrasound I didn't care for that at all! and grr to the incompetent lab tech! I think it is a law they can only try 3X!

The last time I had blood drawn was awful and I saw recently the place was looking for a new tech! Thank goodness!

The ultrasound tech was really good.. The Lab tech got it the first time on Kara but Kyla not so much.. She hadnt been drinking enough water and that effects it. Kara had drank more water.. Makes it easier to find the veins. The next Lab tech got it first try but had to go deep..It sucks to watch your kids get poked like that and it has to happen to know whats going on!
Good news As long as everything is fine with the Ultrasound we wont have to go back for 10months instead of 6 months.

We love Branson. Hubby and I were offered the opportunity to go with my folks so we went. Hubby now wants to live in Missouri. We drove all over and love the area....and the people.
Happy Holidays Tonia!
