Rainbows And Privacy...

Out the back door last night between storms....
There was a  faint second rainbow above it.

It was so bright and big.
The pic just doesn't show how amazing it was..

I can read her mind..
Cant a girl get a little privacy around here??
We had 4 storms come through last night. One we got the very tip and a few sprinkles the second was very windy blowing in but calmed down with just  rain and little thunder and lightening. It had extensive straight-line wind damage a little south of us. They said the straight-line winds reached about 70mph. Yikes!! Storm number 3 dumped a lot of rain had alot of booming, rumbling thunder. Then number 4 rolled through right about bed time.. It had tornado warnings with it. But the warning were all to the south of us. I stayed up and kept an eye on things but it just poured and poured here.. So now our drive is washed out again and we have to mow!Lol.. All well rain makes grass grow in places we need it to grow too like the goat pasture! More pasture means less hay to feed..
Dollie Update! She is doing better and getting more active. I ended up having to give her antibiotics as she was sounding a little rattly in her chest and coughing. Pneumonia is something I don't mess with in goats. But she has perked up. Candice took her out in the pasture with everyone else and she was having lots of fun nibbling on all the goodies to eat!Lol But as soon as Candice hid some of the others started being mean to her. So when Candice came in she brought her back to the barn and she hollered all the way back to the barn.. She is LOUD!! None of my other goats are that loud..
Got things to do and lots of mud to wade through! Have a good day everyone!

Glad you guys missed the straight winds! We didn't get any storms here. Photographing rainbows is hard isn't it? You just can't ever capture God's beauty on film! Also glad Dollie is on the mend.

Beautiful pictures of the rainbow!

We too have been getting storms, netting us some much needed moisture, so we don't have to irrigate the pastures, yard or garden. Last night we has some strong wind gusts and heard the booming thunder in the distance, but it just kept moving away from us, PTL as I don't like lightening and thunder.

Glad to hear Dollie is doing better :o) We like to raise our animals naturally but sometimes, for the sake of the animals conventional meds are needed, otherwise you chance loosing the animals. That being said, even conventional medicine doesn't always work, as was the case with our beautiful horse, Mo. I haven't shared via the blog, it hurts to much still.... but we had to make the decision to have him put down about a month ago, due to an enlarged spleen. We did everything in our power, as did the vet and he was just in to much pain and the choice had to be made*sniff* We miss him terribly and there is something missing from our farm, a soft nicker to greet you each morning and night.

Blessings,
Kelle

So glad the storms were gentle on you, well except for the driveway...that's a drag. As far as I can tell all we got was rain here. I sleep thru most storms and only find the damage in the morning. Hubby didn't mention any though and he hears them all.

Weird, but you had the same weather pattern we did, only a couple of days ago. I snapped a pic of a double rainbow on Tuesday -- like you said, the pic does not do it justice. We need rain -- there are 2 inch cracks in the ground right now. Glad Dollie is doing better -- and I so appreciate your comments on my blog. Glad to have you as a friend. :) Nancy

Hubby was drivin' in from another location and he told me of the most beautiful rainbow in which he could see the end. (Dang, no gold) He said it was like the end keep up right beside him as he traveled. Too cool to miss and men never carry their cameras with. Just sayin....

Your picture is just amazing..I love rainbows!

May God bless your beautiful day!!!

I love rainbows! Beautiful pictures.

Glad Dollie is doing so well. We didn't get near the rain you did. Ours were more steady and didn't wash out drive out (for a change).

I hope the others quit picking on Dollie soon.

Love the rainbow. Aren't they cool? We only had heavy rain here and a heck of a light show when I was driving home from Jefferson City. I was in town until 8 or so. Glad you and your family are okay.

We had rain last night too but probably not enough!!And it is freezing this am! With a frost warning tonight! Our leaves are starting to change.

Aw poor little Dollie. It is always an upheaval introducing a new member!
