This post is number 300! I am in shock! lol Well not really I tend to talk/type alot.
I want to let all my readers and followers know I appreciate you coming back time after time.
I love reading all the comments. Even if you don't comment that's okay!
One of these days I may even do a giveaway...

Birds enjoying the feed this morning..  A little Cardinal. He is so bright!
Half of our chicken feed bill is feeding the wild birds too.
I mix in the Black Oil Sunflower Seeds and they love it.
We have several different kinds

The variety in color of eggs we are getting.
Can you spot the possible double yolk??

Kyle was in the front seat of the Rescue truck this morning on a call...
Cant see it from here but he was waving to the girls outside doing chores..

My goat kit... One day I will list whats in it.... I was cleaning it all out today. Making a list of what was in it and what needs to be replaced. I am making up list for my 4H kids. I have to start working on my Kidding kit too..  It too starts out nice and neat by the end of our kidding time its a mess! But well worth it!

 I have lots of little things to do and not getting any of it done.. I think I need to make a list.   Because I am wandering aimlessly from one project to another.Just be glad I am not listing 300 things since this is my #300 post!Lol I am procrastinating too.. Imagine that..lol
 Its suppose to get down to 15* tonight... Its Cold!! I hope everyone has a good night!

Well Tonia Congratulations on your 300th post!! 300, WOW, I am still working on 100. Just want you to know that I truly love coming here everyday to see what is new here at The Simple Life. I love your pictures from the front porch, love learning about and hearing about the goats and all your critters and love hearing about your family. I love the red and green theme on your blog. Your goat kit is so clean and neat and of course I am dying to know what's in it! Reminds me I need to clean out what I can my tool area-I have a hoof jug, a combing jug, and several fence jugs not to mention all my tools etc in a big heap on a shelf. Trying to find any of that stuff afterdark is a nightmare...lol

Tonia - Congratulations on 300 posts!

Your goat kit looks nice and neat! I've got to get mine back into order - especially since my goats start kidding January 19th. I have 14 does hat will kid the last week of January. I sure hope it's not too cold since I'll probably be spending lots of time out in the barn!

oh yeah, congrats on 300!!! I was sidetracked by that goat kit! And GREAT pic of the cardinal they are rare up here! And what a huge egg! My black australops or one of two have started laying so they were a month behind the leghorns.. my first chickens were Rhode Island Reds and they laid multiple yolkers all the time-even quadruple yolkers!!! I have had one double yolker with this flock. One leghorn laid an egg last spring as big as a goose egg, I swear, and it was a single yolk! Anyhow, keep up the great posts!
